LOTTERIA FOOD COURT
I was at my second day post surgery and was feeling very hungry, my friends all went to Lotte World and i was all alone. I felt well enough to go out for a while to get a decent meal and I went to Lotte Mart opposite our apartment and found myself something suitable to eat.
It's pollack soup. Bland but healthy, good for me.
SINSA SUBWAY STATION JAPANESE RESTAURANT
Was craving for cold noodles when i found this restaurant on one of the days i went for my follow up at the clinic.
They serve chilled, springy and very delicious noodles with lots of crunchy veggies, i really liked this alot. However, because of the temperature, i was practically shivering in cold right after having a bowl of this.
RED BEAN PASTRY
You may get to see plenty of street vendors selling this pastry, do try it if you have a sweet tooth. It's best consumed when it's warm. Crispy on the inside and soft inside.
RESTAURANT OPPOSITE SEOUL STATION.
Sorry i didn't take down the name of this restaurant. It's on the same stretch as Sowha Children's hospital. The beef sukiyaki hotpot (i don't know the korean name) is very good and satisfying.
Soup is rather sweet and beef very tender, very generous serving too.
Pig Blood Soup
I forgot what soup this is but it's nothing to rave about, very normal.
EGG BREAD
You can find these in Myeongdong. Have it when it's piping hot. Bread is sweet and moist, more like cake rather than bread.
HONGDAE RESTAURANT
This restaurant caters to mainly the uni students and they open till late, probably after 4am or so.
Pork Neck
Kimchi Pancake
Chicken with cheese
RESTAURANT OPPOSITE SEOUL STATION
This restaurant serves pretty decent Gamjatang (boiled pork bones with potatoes)
AROUND THE CORNER- HONGDAE'S FAMOUS ICE CREAM!!!
This is a must try if you're an ice cream lover. However, the queue can be very long though.
Soft vanilla ice cream with crunchy honey comb.
YOOGANE- CHICKEN GALBI
I heard raves about this restaurant online and decided to try it.
A testament to this is the 31-year history of the chain. Started in 1981, Yoogane is now a booming franchise, from the myriad eateries in Seoul to branches in Busan, Jeju and recently, the Philippines. The Myeong-dong branch is highly popular with Koreans, as the waiter assured me, and is bursting at the seams on weekends – so much so that a second restaurant opened up three minutes down the road.
all-you-can-eat, self-service “sides” table where you can top up on more kimchi, pickled radish, or cabbage salad with kiwi dressing.
I ordered the marinated chicken fried rice and added cheese.
I'm a super big fan of cheese. This was so yummy i finished everything on my own.
Directions: From Myeongdong Station, line 4, exit 6, turn right after Uniqlo. Yoogane is on your left.

WANGBIJIB RESTAURANT
I was searching on where to have good bbq korean meals in Myeongdong and found this restaurant. This is really one of the best bbq restaurants i have visited during my trip, they specialize in grilled meat. When i go back to Seoul next time, i will definitely come here again.
It's located on the second level
One of the side dishes.
Sogalbi Jeongsik (beef ribs set meal)
Apart from their bbq meat, they do excellent cold noodles too.
Dining on my own. I finished every single bit and left this place feeling very very happy!!! The food was sooo delicious!!!!
If you like Korean BBQ like how i do, please make an effort to visit this place, you will not be disappointed.
My bill. 4,000 won is the cost of the cold noodles.
